Man killed in house fire in Melbourne’s north-east

A man has died following a house fire in Heidelberg West.

Emergency Services were called to the Wewak Parade home shortly before 1am.

The man was found inside the property and died at the scene.

Detectives and an arson chemist will attend the property this morning.
