Man on the run after brazen stabbing at Aspendale

A man is on the run and another has suffered serious injuries after a stabbing at Aspendale.

3AW Drive was alerted to the disturbing incident on Wednesday afternoon.

A 47-year-old man has been taken to hospital after an altercation on Station Street.

The offender is described as 185cm tall, perceived to be Caucasian, solid build with blue eyes and a navy blue zip up jacket and a baseball cap.

Police advise not to approach the man if you see him, contact 000.
