Man receives licence he didn’t order with one pretty obvious mistake

In an embarrassing blunder from VicRoads, a Melbourne man has received a licence he never ordered, which also contains a rather obvious incorrect detail.

Anthony Kilsby told Tony Jones he went out to his letterbox to find the licence, which he didn’t request, with all his personal details on it, except for one thing.

“It looks exactly like my current licence except the photo,” he said.

“I’m male, 6’3″, got about a foot and a half of blondey brown dreadlocks and blue eyes.”

The photo is of a woman of Asian appearance, who Anthony assumes is out there somewhere waiting for a licence.

Anthony said he contacted VicRoads yesterday but after being kept on hold, following by the call being disconnected, he took to Twitter.

“I eventually heard back from them but just to say they’d look into it.”
