Man seriously injured in Braybrook kidnapping
Two men have been charged after a kidnapping in Braybrook in the early hours of Thursday morning.
Police allege three offenders arrived at a property in Braybrook about 3am yesterday and demanded cash from a man.
He was assaulted and taken from the property by the group.
Detectives, including the Armed Crime Squad, Maribyrnong CIU, the Dog squad and local police attended a property on Castley Crescent, Braybrook last night and two men were arrested.
The victim was rescued and transported to hospital with serious injuries.
It’s believed the parties were known to each other.
Two 22-year-old Braybrook men have been charged with kidnapping, false imprisonment and assault, and remanded to appear at Melbourne Magistrates’ Court today.
