Man seriously injured in Geelong dive shop explosion

A man has been seriously injured in an explosion in a dive shop in Geelong.

A compression bottle exploded whist being filled up inside the store on Melbourne Road, blowing out the windows of the business shortly after 5pm on Wednesday afternoon.

The man was airlifted to hospital.

Worksafe is investigating.
