Man shot at Broadmeadows, dumped in Campbellfield

A man has been taken to the Royal Melbourne hospital with non life-threatening injuries after being shot at Broadmeadows.

It’s understood a man aged in his 20s was found in a carpark between two fast food outlets in Cambellfield after a group of men got into an altercation at an industrial zone on Northcorp Boulevard around 2.40pm on Tuesday.

Two crime scenes were initially established, however, police have since begun looking elsewhere.

Those responsible are yet to be found.

‘It’s not yet clear what the dispute was over,’ 3AW’s Jordan Tunbridge told Tom Elliott from the scene.

‘But police are concerned something like this would happen in the middle of the afternoon in an industrial area.’
