Man shot at Rosebud, woman found dead in Clayton

The homicide squad is investigating the shooting of a man in Rosebud and the death of a woman found in Clayton overnight.

A man, 30, was found in a car on Eastbourne Road in Rosebud about 8pm with a gunshot wound to his head.

He’s been taken to hospital in a critical condition.

The homicide squad is still investigating the circumstances of the shooting.

Meanwhile, homicide squad detectives are appealing for information from the public following the death of a woman whose body was found in a Clayton home yesterday afternoon.

The woman hadn’t been seen for several days.

Police making the grim find in the Banksia Street house after being called to make a welfare check about 4pm.
