Man shot in head at Bacchus Marsh, duo charged with murder

UPDATE: A man and woman have been charged with murder after a man was shot in the head at Bacchus Marsh.

The shocking incident happened in broad daylight on Labilliere Street just before 8.20am on Tuesday.

It’s believed an SUV pulled up next to a delivery van, with the shooter getting out of the car and shooting the driver of the van in the head.

It’s understood the man had been arguing with a woman about an hour before he was shot dead.

Police have since arrested a 33-year-old Thornbury man at a Thomastown address, with a 26-year-old woman of no fixed address also taken into custody.

Both have been charged with murder and will appear in Melbourne Magistrates’ Court on Thursday.
