Man shot several times outside his Glenroy home

A man has survived a shooting outside his house in Glenroy.

The 34-year-old was standing outside his Stanley Street home when he was shot several times about 8pm.

He suffered stomach injuries but police say those injuries are non-life threatening.

The man’s attacker remains on the run.

Police have not yet released a description of any offenders or getaway cars, and the motivation behind the attack is not yet known.

It’s believed the parties are known to each other.

The Herald Sun reports residents are too frightened to sleep after the attack.
