Man slips out of supermarket with 72 litres of olive oil

A man has stolen 72 litres of olive oil from a supermarket in Hoppers Crossing.

Investigators have been told a man placed 18 four litre cans of olive oil into a trolley inside a Geelong Road supermarket about 6.15pm on 1 January.

The man slipped out of the store with his trolley and has failed to pay.

Police have released an image and CCTV footage of a man they believe may be able to assist with their enquiries.
