Man stabbed inside office on Collins Street

LATEST: Police have released disturbing CCTV footage after a man was chased and stabbed at an office in the CBD last week.

Police say a man somehow gained access to the office block on Collins Street on Wednesday morning where he was confronted by another man as he rummaged through a bag.

The 35-year-old victim was then allegedly stabbed following a scuffle.

The man is described as being aged in his late 20s, about 180cm tall with a tan complexion. 

He was wearing a blue 80s style sports jacket, blue jeans and white runners. 

Police have released images of a man they believe may be able to assist them.
