Man suffers serious burns after garden shed explosion at Ferntree Gully
A man has been placed in an induced coma, after he was injured in an explosion in his garden shed.
The man aged in his 40s suffered burns to his head, back, hands and legs as well as a fractured leg.
Paramedics were called to the Ferntree Gully property around 5.20pm on Tuesday before the man was airlifted to the Alfred Hospital.
Around 40 minutes later a woman suffered burns to her face, neck and shoulder after she threw accelerant onto a fire.
