Man surrenders to police following Bendigo petrol station robbery

One man has been arrested and another is on the run following a robbery at a Bendigo petrol station.

Two men threatened a worker at the McIvor Road Coles Express just before 10.30pm on Monday night.

The worker handed over money to the pair, before they fled on foot.

A 25-year-old Long Gully man is in police custody.

Police are searching for a second man who they say was wearing a blue hoodie at the time of the robbery.
