Man taken to hospital with serious injuries after being struck by a truck at Broadmeadows

A man is in a serious condition after being hit by a truck in Broadmeadows.

Paramedics were called to Pascoe Vale Road near Broadmeadows Railway station at 6.45am on Tuesday to find the man with head and facial injuries, and chest injuries.

He was taken to the Royal Melbourne Hospital in a serious condition.
