A man in Western Australia has taken what can only be described as “the most Australian photo of all time”.

Paul Mock, a helicopter pilot from Kununurra told Nick McCallum he was up late doing some work, when he saw the cane toads flushed out by the rain.

“It’s a picture of our resident python, called Monty, with ten male cane toads hitching a ride on his back,” he said.

“I suspect Monty has a nest near the water and they’ve decided to catch a ride with him.”
