Man to face court, charged with Rani Featherston’s murder in 2014
A man has been charged over the stabbing death of Rani Featherston.
The 34-year-old’s body was found 500 metres from her Eumemmering home in April 2014.
Devastated family and friends of held a vigil earlier this month, calling on the public to take a stand against violence towards women.
Police made a breakthrough on Wednesday.
They arrested a 22-year-old Clyde North man and he has been charged with murder.
He’s also been charged with attempted murder and aggravated burglary in relation to another incident at Doveton in March 2014.
He’ll face court on Thursday.
