Man wanted after a teenage boy was sexually assaulted at Footscray train station


Police have released pictures of a man they wish to speak with over a sexual assault of a teen at Footscray.

Police have been told a 17-year-old boy was getting off the train at Footscray train station when he was sexually assaulted by a man shortly before 5.30pm on February 22.

The alleged offender boarded a Sunbury bound train shortly after and got off at Albion station.

The man is perceived to be of Caucasian appearance, 160-170cm tall with a stocky build and dark brown hair.

He was wearing a blue hooded jumper, satchel bag and jean shorts.
