Man wearing Israeli flag attacked in South Yarra on Sunday night

Victoria Police has confirmed they are investigating an alleged antisemitic attack in South Yarra on Sunday night.

Neil Mitchell reported on Monday that an elderly Jewish man draped in an Israeli flag was attacked on Chapel Street just before 8pm while riding his bike, before a physical altercation took place.

Police later on Monday said that no one involved needed medical treatment, with the investigation ongoing.
