Man woken, hit with gun and then robbed during home invasion

A man has been smacked with a gun and assaulted, before being robbed during a violent home invasion.

The robbery at Williams Landing came to light following a Word On The Street call on Wednesday.

Rob told Tom Elliott he was asked to provide CCTV to police following an incident in his area.

Police have since confirmed they’re investigating.

Three males are believed to have forced their way into a home, entered a bedroom where two people were sleeping.

The three men demanded money and phones, before assaulting the male. The offenders stole numerous items and fled in a vehicle.
