Marcus Bontempelli wins Western Bulldogs best and fairest award

Marcus Bontempelli has joined AFL legend Ted Whitten as the only Western Bulldogs player to win the best-and-fairest in a premiership season.

The star midfielder collected his first club champion award on Wednesday night.

He became the youngest winner in almost 50 years.

Dale Morris and Lachie Hunter finished second and third.
