Margaret Court returns serve to critics on 3AW

Margaret Court says she’s the target of a US-funded gay lobby conspiracy.

She also claims her nephew, who runs the Margaret Court tennis academy in Albury, had been the victim of vandals and threats since she wrote a letter in the West Australian newspaper.

In a lengthy interview with Neil Mitchell, the tennis legend said she “never” supported Apartheid in South Africa and she loved all people, regardless of “their choice” to be gay or transgender.

She also hit back at recent criticism from Martina Navratilova, telling her “worry about what’s happening in her own country.”
