Marriage equality envelopes ripped open in Melbourne’s south-east
Envelopes containing votes on same-sex marriage have been ripped open and votes removed in Melbourne’s south-east.
Colin told Neil Mitchell he found three envelopes ripped open on a street in Murrumbeena this morning.
“I discovered on the footpath, three survey envelopes for the marriage equality survey, they’d been ripped open with the contents removed,” Colin said.
“What they’ve done with the actual survey who knows.”
Neil said there has been “lot of concern about the security of the system”.
