Mason Cox escapes suspension for hit on Johannisen

Mason Cox is free to play in Round 11.

Cox laid a high bump on Bulldog Jason Johannisen on Friday night, but was escaped with a fine.

The Match Review Officer said the hit was careless, with high contact of low impact.

That assessment draws a fine of $2000.

Collingwood plays Fremantle on the Sunday of Round 11.
