A couple of suspensions and almost $10,000 worth in fines has been dished out by the Match Review Panel following Sunday’s spiteful clash between St Kilda and Fremantle.

Cam McCarthy can accept a two-game ban for his tackle on Sam Gilbert that saw the St Kilda defender stretchered from the field.

Jimmy Webster can also accept a two-match sanction for “unreasonable and unnecessary contact” to the eye region of Nick Suban.

Webster, McCarthy, Suban, Brady Grey, Jake Carlisle and Dylan Roberton were all fined over melee charges.

Jack Steven was also fined.

Meanwhile, as most expected, Tom Bugg has been sent directly to the tribunal for his hit on Callum Mills.
