Matthew Guy defends ad empathising with lockdown protesters

Opposition leader Matthew Guy has defended a Liberal advertisement which empathised with anti-lockdown protesters.

The ad, which has been airing on social media since the weekend, also attacks Daniel Andrews for introducing COVID-19 vaccine mandates, and refers to the Premier as a “prick”.

Speaking on Tuesday, Mr Guy said he thought “a lot of Victorians” agreed with the advertisement.
