Matthew Lloyd on Carlton’s win against Gold Coast

Matthew Lloyd says Carlton’s win against the Gold Coast Suns is fantastic for the supporters and for coach Michael Voss, and he told Sam McClure he resonated with Voss when he spoke of relief.

“The word relief just resonated with me for where I’ve often been in the game where it is relief, it’s not euphoria … you can just go ‘Okay, the things I’m doing is a little tick, you get some nourishment in the sense that what I’m doing must be something which Michael got yesterday,” he said.
