Matthew Lloyd says Joe Daniher and Cale Hooker should aim for 100 goals

Matthew Lloyd thinks Joe Daniher will kick 60 goals in 2017.

Daniher has kicked 28, 34, and 43 goals in the last three seasons, and Lloyd told Sports Today he expects the increasing trend to continue.

As revealed by 3AW’s own Whispers on Tuesday, Daniher will be partnered with Cale Hooker in attack this season.

‘I reckon Hooker and Daniher should be aiming to kick 100 between them,’ he said.

Lloyd said he can see the Bombers ‘knocking on the door’ of the finals come the business end of the season.

‘I can see them definitely winning at least half their games,’ he said.

Lloyd also said a tip from Whispers that Jobe Watson would spend more time forward in 2017 is ‘on the money’.
