Matthew Richardson and Cameron Ling react to Bob Murphy’s knee injury

The AFL community is collectively holding its breath, with scans expected to confirm the worst for Western Bulldogs captain Bob Murphy.

The universally loved defender suffered a suspected ACL injury in the dying stages of Sunday’s three-point loss to Hawthorn.

His knee twisted awkwardly in a contest which led to Hawks forward James Sicily kicking the winning goal.

AFL greats Matthew Richardson and Cameron Ling were left devastated by the injury on 3AW Football.

‘I feel crook,’ Richardson said.
