Matthew Richardson and Sam Fisher clear the air on 3AW over ‘that’ sledge
Matthew Richardson has ‘officially’ apologised to St Kilda star Sam Fisher for telling him he’d ended his career.
It was revealed in The Herald Sun this week the Richmond great sledged Fisher after booting four first quarter goals on him in just the third game of Fisher’s career, back in 2004.
So, Sports Today brought the pair together on Wednesday to clear the air.
‘I did have a chuckle when I saw it in the paper,’ Richardson admitted on 3AW.
‘But, Sam, I just want to officially apologise for being an absolute flog.’
Thankfully, it seems Fisher has accepted Richo’s apology!
