Matthew Richardson’s fears for Joe Daniher’s goalkicking

Matthew Richardson has grave concerns over Joe Daniher’s kicking routine.

Daniher booted 3.3 against Hawthorn on Saturday night, but was reluctant to kick traditional drop punts, even from close-in set shots.

Richardson, who booted 800 goals for Richmond, told 3AW Football it shows uncertainty in Daniher’s mind.

‘He’s still not at peace with his routine,’ Richardson said.

‘If he hasn’t got it by now, it might be hard for him to ever get in his career.’
