Max Gawn to miss around three months with hamstring injury
Melbourne ruckman Max Gawn will miss around three months with a hamstring injury.
Last year’s All Australian ruckman suffered the injury in Saturday’s loss to Geelong.
The Demons have confirmed Gawn will require surgery.
3AW Football’s Matthew Richardson said he missed four months with a similar injury.
‘Even if it’s at the lower end, if he’s had some surgery, he’d miss at least a couple of months,’ he said.
Gawn said he’s ‘frustrated’ by the setback, but is remaining positive.
