The Federal Government is today introducing laws that will take a significant step towards the legal supply of cannabis for medicinal purposes.

Federal Health Minister Sussan Ley told Neil Mitchell she hopes it will be available to patients ‘within months’.

‘There are things that it might be able to do that we don’t even know of yet,’ Ms Ley said on Wednesday.
