Melbourne Airport says taxi rank changes reflect customer demand

Melbourne Airport says a decision to move the taxi rank outside the arrivals hall at Tullamarine to a new location and hand Uber two conveniently located pick-up points is working well.

Jai McDermott, Chief of Ground Transport at Melbourne Airport, said the change that was made in December was simply to reflect customer demand.

“The whole place moves better and that’s really important for everybody who uses the airport,” he said.
