Melbourne ‘at a boiling point’ after vandals target Jewish MP’s office

Chair of the Anti-Defamation Commission Dr Dvir Abramovich says Melbourne has reached a “boiling point” after Labor MP Josh Burns’ office was attacked by pro-Palestine protestors.

The St Kilda building had its windows smashed and slogans painted on it, while telecommunication services were also set alight.

“This is a sad day for Melbourne and a sad day for our democracy,” he said on 3AW Mornings.

“We are at a boiling point.”
