Melbourne experiences biggest increase in traffic congestion

Melbourne has experienced the biggest increase in traffic congestion than any other city this year.
The research is based on data from 14,000 local Uber drivers.
The biggest crunch comes in getting to and from Melbourne Airport.
There’s a delay of 29 minutes during the evening peak and 16 minutes in the morning.

Mr Lyon said we should remove the fuel tax and implement a distance tax instead.
He said this would be fairer for regional and rural road users.
