A Melbourne family has been embroiled in a messy legal battle with Pearl Jam frontman Eddie Vedder over his childhood illness charity.

Vedder is threatening to claim money raised by the family and friends of 12-year-old Tilly Wilkes, who suffers from epi-drmolysis bullosa, a life-threatening genetic skin disorder that causes painful blistering and scarring.

Founder & Chairman of the Cure EB Charity Foundation, Scott Didier, joined 3AW Breakfast to give some background to the full story.
