Melbourne family stranded in NSW after border ‘mistake’

A Melbourne family has been left stranded in NSW after mistakenly crossing the border for lunch.

The family of 13, who had travelled to Echuca on a day trip, were looking for a cafe.

They were following the direction of their GPS when they unknowingly crossed a bridge into NSW at the weekend.

The whole family has been taken to a motel in Moama, waiting to come home.
