Melbourne forecast to swelter through hottest day of the year tomorrow

Melbourne is expected to swelter through its hottest day all year on December 27.

The Bureau of Meteorology is forecasting a top of 37 degrees, and it’s a chance to be the hottest day of the year.

“We had a temperature of 37.1 degrees on the 1st of January this year,” spokesperson at the Bureau of Meteorology, Hannah Marsh, told Shane McInnes, filling in for Neil Mitchell.
