Melbourne or London? Which city is the sporting capital?

‘The sporting capital of the world.’

Melbourne, right?

Apparently not!

While we’ve always laid claim to being the centre of the sporting universe, another city has begun to scoff at the suggestion.

According to BBC presenter Charles Dagnell – it’s London.

‘I don’t need to make a case ? I know it,’ he told Ross and John when asked to make a case for the English capital.

‘You have got an inferiority complex down there.’
