UPDATE: A controversial school project which asked students to create an ‘attractive drug package’ has been scrapped.

Neil Mitchell was alerted to the project by a concerned parent of a year 10 student.

‘Of course it’s promoting drugs,’ he told Neil.

Rosehill Secondary College principal Peter Rouse said it was an ‘unfortunate’ situation.

‘Yeah, I think it could have been done a little better,’ he said.

Mr Rouse said that component of the project would no longer take place.
