A flight from Melbourne to Perth has been delayed after an on-board incident this afternoon.
The Tigerair plane had pushed back on the runway and was about to take off when the captain made the decision to return to port.
The carrier says one passenger was safely off-loaded and apologised for any inconvenience.
Tiger said the safety and welfare of passengers and crew is of the utmost importance.
The aircraft has now returned to service.
This afternoon’s incident comes eight days after a pilot turned back a Sydney-Melbourne plane after a threatening note was reportedly discovered mid-flight.
The plane landed with no incident.
