Melbourne’s hottest Christmas Day in 18 years

It was a hot night in Victoria with temperatures remaining in the mid to high 20’s.

In Melbourne the minimum was 25.4?C around 2am.

That followed yesterday afternoon’s peak of 36.3 degrees making it the hottest Christmas Day in 18 years.

The forecast is expected to be in the high 20’s until Friday.
