Melbourne’s Nylex clock to be redeveloped

The iconic Nylex clock is set to be restored to its former glory, as part of a residential and commercial development.

The project will see the clock turned back on permanently as the centrepiece of the site, which will include more than 1000 apartments, as well as retail and commercial space.

Caydon Property Developer Joe Russo told Ross and John the group had officially lodged its application for the site at Cremorne yesterday, with the public able to access their plans this morning.

‘All going well, it should be approved in 12 months time,’ he said on 3AW Breakfast.
