Melbourne’s summer will be hotter than average

Ross and Russel

Good news. The wet and windy days are about to disappear.

Ross and John spoke to Dr David Jones, climatologist from the Bureau of Meteorologist’s National Climate Centre, about the weather.

Mr Jones said we have warmer days coming up.

‘But also our summer does look like being hotter than average,’ he said.

He said there was cooler weather expected on Sunday and Monday but after that it was clear skies.

Mr Jones expects it would be the hottest year on record for the world.
