Melbourne’s water storages on the decline again

Melbourne’s water storages are on the decline again.

Our reserves dropped by 8% in 2015, following a 3% drop in 2014.

But Melbourne Water’s Chris Williams said we are still in a ‘solid’ position.

He said the decision to turn on the desalination plan is ultimately up to the Minister for Water, Lisa Neville.
