Melbourne set for depressing Easter weather record

Melbourne is set to record its coldest Easter Sunday in 80 years this weekend.

The city is forecast to hit just 14.5 degrees, which would be the coldest on record since 1943.

“It’s a long time ago,” Keris Arndt, senior forecaster at the Bureau of Meteorology, told Neil Mitchell.
