Melbourne set to swelter through Moomba long weekend

The Bureau of Meteorology has revealed Melbourne will see three days in a row over 38 degrees the longest, hottest streak of warm weather .

Senior Meteorologist, Angus Hines, says Melburnians will need to be sun-smart this weekend.

“Saturday is looking like the hottest day, we could be brushing 39 degrees in Melbourne,” he told Jacqui Felgate.
