Melbourne star takes extended leave, absent from pre-season training
Melbourne midfielder Clayton Oliver was absent from pre-season training on Thursday, with the club revealing he has taken extended leave to deal with personal issues.
Oliver’s name has been in the spotlight over recent months, having left the club’s off-season training camp in December as well as facing questions over the trade period around his off-field behaviour.
Nine News sports reporter Xander McGuire explained why Oliver remains away from Demons pre-season training with less than two months to go until Round 1.
