Timing is everything.

The collapse of Dick Smith Electronics has left the Melbourne Stars looking for a new major sponsor.

‘Since the news broke this morning we’ve been inundated for requests,’ Stars CEO Clint Cooper told Sports Today.

‘I’ve been amazingly surprised at the support of corporate Australia. We’ve had several enquiries since early this morning.’
