RUMOUR CONFIRMED

Almost a dozen Melbourne students will speak with an astronaut on Friday night … while he’s in space!

The 11 students from Essex Heights Primary at Mount Waverley will get to experience the unique out-this-world-experience when they interview American Jeffrey Williams as he’s orbiting the earth.

Mr Williams is on his third stint at the International Space Station, which makes him the record-holder for the American who has spent the most cumulative days in space.

Principal Andrew Crossett told 3AW Breakfast the students, from year-three to year-six, had their questions ready.

‘We’ve got a 10 minute window to ask questions,’ he told Ross and John.

‘He’s a very experienced astronaut.’
